What Type of Web Sever Hardware Does Purity Link Use?
A:
All of our server systems,
including Web hosting, e-mail, and DNS services, are
powered by custom-built industrial rack-mount
servers. Each server is powered dual Intel Pentium
III processors and has a minimum of 1 GB of physical
memory. All mass storage drives are SCSI Ultra160
and are configured in hot-swap RAID configurations.
In addition, all other critical hardware components
including power supplies are
hot-swappable.

What type of Internet connection does Purity Link's server
equipment have?
A:
Purity Link's equipment is located in the heart of a major
telecommunications center and is linked via fiber into a gigabit
switched network serviced by multiple dedicated circuts. Our
network connections are burstable, meaning that
as our customers' Web sites demand more bandwidth to
operate efficiently, our connection automatically
increases to meet that demand.

powered by Microsoft Windows 2000 Server and Internet
Information Services (IIS) 5.0.

Customers may integrate archived Real or Windows Media files into their
site and stream these files via HTTP. Normal disk space and bandwidth limits
apply. Customers who wish to stream live broadcasts
using Real System 8 Server or Windows Media Server may also do so for an
