You can have a personal relationship
with Jesus Christ. Here's how!
Salvation
from Hell is By Invitation.
Jesus, God's Son, promised that He needs only an invitation to come into
your life. Because He is God's Son, He would never tell a lie. God wants you to
be sure that Jesus is in your life. "These things have I written unto you
that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know ye have eternal
life." (I
John 5:13) This is a promise that can't be broken.

Sin
Separates Us From God
Sin, or
willful disobedience to God, separates us from God. "For all have sinned,
and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23) Committing one sin
makes a person a sinner. Jesus is God's only provision for dealing with
humanity's sin. "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were
yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans
5:8) |

God's
Spirit Creates Awareness
God's Spirit makes us aware of our sin and the penalty
for sin. His Spirit works in our hearts, telling us that Jesus stands
outside our heart's door, knocking and asking for entrance into our
hearts. But He does not open that door
Himself. |

God
Provides Forgiveness For Sin
To
receive forgiveness, we must follow God's way, not our own. The Bible says
we cannot save ourselves. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and
that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians
2:8-9) |

 |
Repent and Turn Away From Sin
The
Bible also says, "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your
sins may be blotted out." (Acts 3:19). Repentance is turning to God
through Jesus and turning away from sin. You then must give Him control of
your life, allowing Him to be in charge of every
situation. |

What
The Bible Says I Need To Know
1. I know I have sinned. 2. I know there is a penalty for
sin. 3. I know I must be saved to avoid eternal separation from
God in a place called hell. 4. I know that being saved will give
me eternal fellowship with God in a place called Heaven. 5. I know I
can ask Christ to come into my life.
